How it works

Pair once. Then open it anywhere.

Pairing connects one computer to your SEO Utils cloud account. You do it once per computer, from the desktop app.

Step 01

Pair the computer with your account

In SEO Utils, open Settings → Services → Remote Access and click Enable Remote Access. A pairing code such as 7GKP-XT29 appears. Approve it in your cloud account at app.seoutils.app.

Step 02

Open your private address from any device

Your computer gets an address of its own, https://inst-….seoutils.app. Paste it into any browser and sign in with your cloud account. Only people signed in to that account can open it.

Step 03

Add a seat for each extra browser

One signed-in browser is one seat — your laptop and your phone are two. Add seats from the Remote Access page of your cloud account, or from Buy more seats on the card in the app.

Before you subscribe

Does it work when my computer is asleep?
No. SEO Utils has to be open on the computer, and the computer awake and online. Otherwise your address shows an offline page, and reconnects by itself as soon as the computer is back.
Is my data leaving my machine?
No. Your reports, keywords and settings stay on your computer, and the browser talks to it through your private address. Your cloud account only handles sign-in, approving computers, seats and billing.
Do I need an unexpired licence key?
No. An expired key still pairs a computer and Remote Access keeps working; only a licence that is disabled, refunded or deactivated on that computer pauses it. A licence problem never cancels your plan, so cancel it yourself if you no longer need it.
What counts as a seat?
One signed-in browser. All the tabs in one browser share a seat, your laptop and your phone are two, and the desktop app never uses one. Closing the tab does not free it — sign out, or it frees itself after 30 days without activity.
Can I pair two computers?
Yes. Pair each one from its own copy of SEO Utils, using the same cloud account. Every paired computer gets its own address and its own plan.
Does turning Remote Access off cancel my plan?
No. The switch, forgetting the pairing, unpairing and deactivating your licence all leave the plan billing. Cancel it with Cancel at period end on the Remote Access page of your cloud account.
